Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church is a member of the WELS (Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod). God brings Christians together into churches. Local, regional and national. We exist to serve Christ. Even though our world would not want us to publicly preach and teach about Christ, our Lord wants us to do so. The Word of God is living and active. We are ready and willing to tell you what we believe. Christ has paid for the sins of the world. We sinners have his grace and mercy. As we strive to live up to his love, we humbly ask you to join us at Calvary. Come worship with us! "Worship the Lord with gladness; come before Him with joyful songs. Know that the Lord is God." Psalm 100:2-3 |

Advent During Advent we look forward to the coming of Christ at Christmas. For many years this fit well with waiting for the Christ to come at the last day. The common themes in these two “Advents” of Christ fit very well together as we begin the church year anew. All Christians joyfully await Christ’s coming. We celebrate advent with special opportunities to worship on Wednesday evenings. On November 30th, December 7th, and December 14th we will serve an evening fellowship meal before our worship. Pastors emeriti Randal Styx and Robert Diener will preach the Word to us on two Wednesdays, and choirs will join us for the first two Wednesdays. Our theme is “The Very First Christmas” Advent Service One: “The Very First Christmas Promise” Advent Service Two: “The Very First Christmas Gifts” Advent Service Three: “The Very First Christmas Decoration”
