Meet our Pastor

Pastor Voigt was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and raised in Marshfield, Wisconsin. He went to public grade school until his church opened a Christian Day School when he was in the third grade. He attended high school at Martin Luther Preparatory School in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. From there he moved on to Northwestern College in Watertown, Wisconsin, where he finished with a Bachelor of Arts. Pastor Voigt completed his studies at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, WI, graduating with a Masters of Theology.

Pastor Voigt has served in a number of different settings: as a vicar in Puerto Rico, tutor at Northwestern Preparatory School, pastor in Texas, Oklahoma, and Minnesota, as well as a teacher at Evergreen Lutheran High School in Washington state.

In January of 2019, he and family moved to Sheboygan to serve the saints at Calvary Ev. Lutheran Church. Pastor and Charmain have two daughters (Kendra and Marinah) and one son (Joel). Recently they adopted a rescue dog (Zoey).

In his free time, Pastor Voigt enjoys running (better jogging), reading, and watching sports—especially the teams in Green Bay and Milwaukee.

“In all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8:37-39).
